1. OVERVIEW AND APPLICABILITY

This Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all return, exchange, refund, and cancellation requests for products purchased from Aadita, a brand owned and operated by Digital Trendz Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Policy applies strictly to retail (B2C) purchases made through our official website www.aaditafashion.com, social media channels, or any authorized sales platform.

Wholesale/B2B Orders:
All wholesale, bulk, or B2B orders are non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances. However, in case of genuine issues such as transit damage or incorrect product delivery, customers may contact us within the prescribed timeline for resolution at our sole discretion.

By placing an order, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by this Policy.


2. GENERAL RETURN ELIGIBILITY (Retail/B2C ONLY)

All products undergo strict quality checks prior to dispatch. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, you may request a return or exchange subject to the conditions set out in this Policy.

Returns or exchanges shall NOT be accepted for:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference (design, color, size, etc.)
  • Minor variations inherent to artificial/fashion jewellery
  • Normal wear and tear or damage due to usage

3. MANDATORY UNBOXING VIDEO REQUIREMENT (STRICT CONDITION)

To ensure transparency and prevent fraudulent claims, the following is mandatory and non-negotiable:

You must record a continuous, clear, and unedited unboxing video starting from the sealed package to the complete display of the product.

The video must clearly show:

  • Outer packaging with shipping label
  • Sealed condition of the parcel
  • Full unboxing process
  • Product condition upon opening

Important:

  • Claims without a valid unboxing video will be automatically rejected without exception
  • Edited, cut, unclear, or incomplete videos will not be accepted

4. CLAIM PROCESS (STEP-BY-STEP)

In case of a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, the following process must be followed:

Step 1 – Record Unboxing Video
Immediately upon delivery.

Step 2 – Raise Claim Within 7 Days
Email us at care@aaditafashion.com with:

  • Order ID
  • Unboxing video (or shareable link)
  • Clear images of the issue
  • Brief description of the problem

Step 3 – Verification & Approval
Our team will review the claim within 2–3 business days. If approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued with further instructions.

Step 4 – Return & Inspection
Returned products will undergo inspection by our quality control team.


5. CONDITIONS FOR ACCEPTANCE

A return or exchange request will be accepted only if:

  • The claim is raised within 7 days of delivery
  • A valid unboxing video is provided
  • The product is unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Original packaging, tags, and accessories are intact
  • The product has not been tampered with or altered

The Company reserves the right to reject any claim that does not meet the above conditions.


6. REFUND AND REPLACEMENT POLICY

Upon successful inspection and approval:

  • A replacement will be provided, subject to stock availability
  • If replacement is not available, a refund will be processed

Refund Timelines:

  • Initiated within 7–10 business days after approval

Mode of Refund:

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunded to original payment method
  • COD Orders: Refund via bank transfer (customer must provide accurate bank details)

The Company shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or incorrect customer details.


7. RETURN SHIPPING

  • For approved defective/damaged cases, return shipping will be arranged by us or reimbursed
  • Customers must ensure proper packaging while returning the product

The Company shall not be responsible for:

  • Products damaged due to poor packaging during return
  • Lost shipments sent without authorization or tracking

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

Customer-Initiated Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

Cancellation requests must be made via:

Company-Initiated Cancellation

The Company reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion due to:

  • Stock unavailability
  • Payment issues

9. FRAUD PREVENTION AND MISUSE

We reserve the right to:

  • Reject claims suspected to be fraudulent
  • Block accounts involved in repeated false claims or COD misuse
  • Deny future service to such users

All decisions in such cases shall be final.


10. FINAL INSPECTION AND DECISION

All returned products are subject to inspection by our quality control team. The Company’s decision regarding:

  • Product condition
  • Eligibility of return/refund
  • Resolution method

shall be final, binding, and non-negotiable.


11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Surat, Gujarat.
